Literature Text
This blood flowed up from the inferior vena cava-
From nowhere near the head.
This love I have for you stirred deeper,
And I suppose without thought.
Into the right atrium, the idea stirred.
It flowed quickly through the tricuspid valve,
Without stopping,
Until the valve closes with a "lub"-
The origin shut off.
The right ventricle thrust up,
And we're breathing.
Back into the heart,
But this time we're left.
The left atrium allows the flow one more time.
We trickle through the mitral valve,
And the blood is for a moment sitting.
But then it's gone,
And the aortic valve slams with a "dup"...
With no more pulses to come,
I wish I could relive
So that I may never forget
though i know i never will
From nowhere near the head.

Cherished
She persuades him to lie down and be still for her
Naked in body only,
her eyes peer past the whole to the pieces.
She squeezes his breasts
Sweet, ripe little things
How they ache for her.
Curious hands become gentle fingers
Sliding up his throat
knuckles rasping against stubble
Skating across his forehead smoothing furrows.
Press gently on the delicate skin at the edges of his eyes
Follow down between the eyebrows
The straight line of his nose
Stroking soft lips that part in hungry expectancy.
She stretches his arms above his head, palms up.
Traces with spider legs down his shivering skin
Tickles the hair of his armpits
Nuzzling her

Christmas
Night was falling around Bethlehem, and the stars in the sky watched with interest a girl sneaking out of her home in the dark. They twinkled at each other, as if saying "Oh look, here she goes again", for she had been doing this ever since she had arrived when she was seven years old. Past the houses she ran, until she had left the village behind and could run openly across the meadows, her fingers dancing on the fleeces of sheep as she passed.
The girl slowed down to a careful walk as she neared a cavern. Here and there, geometrically arranged stones hinted at a long abandoned settlement. A sudden breeze sang in the grass beneath her feet,

Song of the Seasons
The girl who talked for days on end
Has collapsed around the bend
In a muddled pile
Out of the way
While her eyes sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her lips looked the red of Autumn
And her hair Spring’s spun gold.
A happy girl was she indeed
Helping everyone in need
To make them smile
And make them forget
And while her words sang songs of Summer,
Her heart was in Winter’s hold.
Her mind was well in Autumn,
But her thoughts Spring’s spun gold.
Still she left them all alone;
Finally returned back home
Where she is safe
Forevermore
Now she will forever sing songs of Summer,
Though she is Winter
